Apprentices for the profession of professional driver wanted in Lyon Mountain

Professional drivers transport and collect waste, packaging, and organic materials throughout the entire district for HAMEG. They also work in the areas of bulky waste collection and collection of electronic waste. As drivers of disposal vehicles, our professional drivers ensure that waste is picked up and enters the waste management cycle. They are proficient in the technical equipment of their vehicles and can identify and fix malfunctions. Whether it's a side loader, rear loader, or even a roll-off truck with a container that can be tilted at a 90-degree angle - HAMEG has a variety of large vehicles.

The apprenticeship primarily covers the following areas:
  • Vehicle technology
  • Planning the driving route and preparing for departure
  • Performing maintenance and upkeep on the vehicle
  • Handling formalities (e.g. freight documents)

What does the apprenticeship involve?

During their 3-year dual apprenticeship, our apprentices learn all practical skills of a professional driver in our company. The theoretical content is taught in block lessons at the vocational school in Neumünster
