APPRENTICESHIP INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC (M/F/D)

As an industrial mechanic, you ensure that the systems and machines are always operational. Turning, milling, and filing are part of your daily tasks in our company. As an industrial mechanic, you alternate between vocational school and your company, allowing you to apply your acquired knowledge in physics, mathematics, and computer science in practice. As an industrial mechanic at GIGANT, you are an "all-rounder" as you are responsible not only for the installation and monitoring of machines and systems, but also for maintenance, production of device parts, and control and optimization of production processes.

Your tasks
  • You assemble finished machine components
  • You program work instructions into the electronics of a machine
  • Using various modern measuring instruments, as well as rulers and scales, you check your work
  • You perform maintenance and repair work to ensure smooth operation of the company
  • In the (apprentice) workshop, warehouse, and production halls, you learn the important techniques for the assembly and disassembly of machines directly on the workpieces
  • You identify malfunctions, order suitable spare parts, or manufacture them yourself and carry out repairs
Your profile
  • Good secondary school leaving certificate
  • Interest in the subjects of mathematics,
