Worship Pastor

Purpose:

To serve as primary worship pastor of Impact Church; to lead, plan, and participate in services, activities, and community events that reflect the core values and vision of Impact Church; in collaboration with the Lead Pastor and Executive Team empower a team of staff/volunteer leaders through worship.

Church Bio

Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Sunday services: 4 (Main Campus)
Inperson Sunday attendees: 5,000 (Main Campus)

Competencies:

Vocal, musical, and songwriting skills
Well versed in several instruments and Ableton software
Strive to maintain an active and growing relationship with the Lord
Help our people grow in their faith with God
Have the ability to connect with people relationally and to foster healthy interpersonal relationships among the people
Work collaboratively with the Lead Pastor to execute vision
Exhibit effective organizational planning and timely followthrough
Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain an exciting, engaging environment for people to encounter God through community and discipleship
Plan, organize, and spiritually lead multiple weekly worship services
Recruit, train, and build worship teams
Plan and organize worship services to meet weekly time requirements
Sharpen musical and technical abilities in an ongoing way
Lead contractors and volunteers to sharpen musical abilities
Assist with all production team technical efforts
Participate in songwriting sessions
Lead volunteer and contractor recruitment and development efforts
Participate in all church wide activities including services, events, conferences, gatherings, etc.
Submit to the vision of the Lead Pastor and the direction of Impact Church
