- This position will work closely with pulmonology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology. a rewarding practice in the heart of the Midwest alongside a strong oncology program with over 70% of the market share
- Seeking a BE/BC Thoracic Surgeon to support expansion and growth of a strong oncology program.
- Will work closely with pulmonology, medical oncology, radiation oncology
- Robotic surgery and ION experience required
- Academic appointments available with University of IL College of Medicine at Rockford.
- Surgical ablations (MAZE or Modified MAZE procedures, pulmonary vein isolation
- Occasionally, epicardial pacer wire when Cardiology can't get a transvenous wire in; and places Temporary pacer wires.
- Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
- Heart valve repair or replacement?
- We have an Impella device, but not a true VAD.
