What will I do?
- Monitor parking lots and parking garages for KP employees who are parking outside of their assigned parking area. Assign parking citations as needed.
- Using an electronic device, enter citation information into database.
- Display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base. Provide directions when KP members ask for assistance.
- Assist customers in the parking garages, in the parking lots and on occasion help direct traffic.
- Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, cando attitude.
- Take wheelchairs back to the hospital when found in the garage or parking lot areas.
- Assist Kaiser in keeping your work area clean. If you see garbage, pick it up and put it in a trash can. If you see a spill or broken glass, report it to Kaiser security immediately.
- On occasion, assist the valet lot as needed. This position will require you to be cross trained as a valet attendant.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Experience:
- Strong customer service experience. This is a customer service job.
- Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Valet experience is preferred but not required.
Skills:
- Willingness to be flexible, and to work at multiple facility locations (Roseville and Lincoln).
- Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
- Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).
Physical Demands:
- Willingness to work in the elements heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time. Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
