SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Service Manager for Germany is responsible for overseeing and coordinating service activities for NIS business segments in Germany. Reporting to the NIS Service Leader, the Service Manager will manage a team of field service technicians and provide internal customer support for commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities. They will work closely with German Operations and Sales Leaders to meet customer requests. The Service Manager will also collaborate with NIS Italian plants for spare parts, revamping, and retrofit activities. They will maintain relationships and communication with customers to ensure the conditions outlined in the LTSA are met and support the sales team in expanding services and acquiring new accounts.

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing excellent after-sales service.
  • Independently carry out commissioning, support, and fault analyses through remote support and feedback from field service engineers.
  • Plan and coordinate commissioning and service calls for all Nidec Industrial Solutions product lines in the assigned geographical area.
  • Collaborate with other countries for overseas activities of the Country Service Team.
  • Provide guidance, leadership, and development opportunities for service engineers and technicians.
  • Determine appropriate spare parts and promote spare parts business.
