Currently, we have around engineers working for us, for example in the modernization, maintenance and procurement of rail vehicles and their components. As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you ensure that the largest rail fleet in Germany is always kept running at the highest quality.

We are currently looking for you as a Contract Management Officer in the major project "ABS 46/2 Emmerich - Oberhausen" (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at our location in Duisburg.

Your tasks:

  • You support and participate in all contract-related correspondence with contractors, especially in responding to claims for additional costs, notifications of hindrances and objections, as well as requests to promote planning and construction progress (defect notices, execution deadlines, defect rectification, etc.) including follow-up
  • In addition, your responsibilities include timely requesting of documents owed by contractors (construction schedules, procedural instructions, subcontractor notifications, etc.)
  • You prepare statements on contract changes, especially in complex cases (e.g. construction time claims, general cost claims, etc.) and conduct contract negotiations in cooperation with procurement
  • You also ensure quality assurance for statements from construction supervision, planning and project management
