    Description
    The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing project and bid strategies. You will do so by analyzing project proposals and historical cost data. Ultimately, your work will help us develop new business opportunities.


    Using your expertise in construction & design, you will utilize modern software tools to evaluate residential construction drawings and develop estimation for interior trim, door packages, box beams, counter tops and potentially stair and railing systems.


    You will use vendor web-based systems where appropriate and integrate with our internal proprietary cost projection platform as you source and purchase specialty millwork materials.


    As a key liaison between customers, vendors and the sales team, the estimator provides information that is critical to establishing and meeting quote, delivery and install dates.


    You will be responsible to internal teams, customers, architects, designers, general contractors and/or construction firms who need your expertise for a variety of construction projects.

    ResponsibilitiesAttend bid meetings and develop and execute bid strategyPrepare thorough and timely cost analysisAnalyze project proposals to prepare budget and cost estimateGather, update, and review historical cost data

    Required QualificationsExperience estimating projects or relevant engineering experienceHigh proficiency - PlanSwift, TurboCAD and/or AutoCadProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteReliable transportation to Pacific, MO
