Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services.

We are recruiting to fill a position to lead business development activities for a small government contracting firm focused on IT Services and Cyber Security for clients in Civil and DoD markets.


OVERVIEW:

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst II to join our client's winning team. The Financial Systems Analyst II will support the client's Technical Representative.

This role focuses on managing and analyzing financial data to support the preparation of annual budgets, assess organizational performance, and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

They support a wide range of professional information technology (IT), intelligence services, including acquisition, procurement, financial, international, and foreign military sales support services for the Department of Defense.

***: The Financial Systems Analyst II will manage and analyze financial data to support the client's Technical Representative in budget preparation and performance assessments. This role involves developing financial policies, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations to optimize budget management and resource allocation.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide advice and technical assistance in preparing annual budgets for various programs within the organization.
  • Assess the financial impact of organizational policies and programmatic changes on the allocated budget.
  • Conduct costbenefit analyses to evaluate financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
  • Develop and maintain financial guidelines and policies governing budget formulation and maintenance.
  • Track budgets, costs, and variances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures and regulations.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions on new budget procedures for department or agency personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Greater than 4 years of professional experience in financial systems analysis, with a preference for at least 5 years.
  • Proven ability to manage complex financial systems and prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in assessing budgetary requirements and financial impacts.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:


  • Advanced understanding of financial management processes and techniques within a government or military setting.
  • Experience with financial software systems and databases.
  • Excellent communication and training skills to effectively share knowledge and practices related to financial management.
