Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Real Estate Growth Advisors, LLC - 325 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ 07701

Job Description: Staff Accountant needed to assist in the day to day operations and accounting functions of an expanding property management company. This position will work directly with the owners of the business and has opportunity for growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Bookkeeping responsibilities, including: vendor invoice processing and payments, tenant payment processing, and monthly bank reconciliations

· Assist in tenant relations and correspondence, including: lease renewals, default notices, legal notices and other tenant correspondence.

· Purchase card management (Home Depot, American Express), including receipt collection and expense allocation across the portfolio

· Quarterly Reporting responsibilities, including report preparation and analysis.

· Organize and maintain the filing system

· Administrative support to owners

Requirements:

· Education – High School Diploma / GED Equivalent. B.S. in Accounting a plus

· Possess the ability to complete standard bookkeeping skills such as bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

· Basic computer skills, such as Microsoft office (especially a proficiency in Excel)

· Ability to carry out duties independently and successfully with limited supervision

· Possession of strong written and communication skills

· Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is a plus

· Must have a valid driver's license and provide own transportation

Working Conditions:

A typical workweek requires 40 hours. Position may require additional hours when necessary to complete special projects.
