Job Overview:


Shriners Hospitals for Children Northern California, the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury and pediatric subspecialties medical center, has an opportunity for an Assistant to join our Referral Center Department.

This position is per diem, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $ $34.27/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.

Responsibilities:


  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening, ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Requires proficient knowledge in IBM compatible computer systems, (ie., MS Windows, Word, Excel etc.).
  • Experience working in a health care environment desired.
  • Spanish speaking preferred.

Qualifications:

Required:
Highschool diploma or equivalent


Preferred:
Administrative experience in a healthcare setting

Customer service experience
