What is this role?
As the
Employee Experience Manager for Cirkul, you will play a key role in supporting our headquartered employees.

You will work closely with the People Leadership team to provide support to our headquartered employees in all aspects of HR including; employee relations, engagement, reporting, policy creation, and more.


What does an average day look like?

Driving Results:

  • Create and implement organizational policies including the creation of the Employee Handbook and state compliance inserts.
  • Ensure that performance management practices are fully integrated and that the processes are completed to raise the performance bar by improving the overall quality of goals, development, and feedback.
  • Along with the People team, develop and implement People plans, policies, and initiatives aligned with our mission and core values including talent management, performance management, employee relations, and engagement.
  • Working alongside the Talent Development team, create and present an inclusive onboarding experience.

Taking Ownership:


  • Analyze and report on the Employee Experience to identify opportunities for engagement and retention, providing summaries of opportunities, gaps, and recommendations for action.
  • Work with the People Team to develop and maintain the Cirkul employee value proposition that aligns with our Mission and Values.

Making Decisions:


  • Design and implement employee retention initiatives and programs, engagement activities, and HR best practices.

Cultivating Relationships:


  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach, facilitate change management, and support the development of HR initiatives.
Resolve conflict and build relationships using a solutions-oriented approach.

  • Follow up with employees through the employee lifecycle including periodic check ins and documentation.

Instilling Trust:


  • Support in reviewing, interpreting, administering and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and company policies and procedures.

Customer Focus:


  • Be a change agent adding value in proactive ways, bringing options and ideas forward best supporting our transformation and growth.
  • Actively listen to employees in all stages of the employee lifecycle, monitor trends, and recommend action.

What background should you have?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as an HR Generalist in a fast paced HQ environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Experience with policy writing and a strong understanding of local, state, and federal laws across the US.
  • Strong consultative skills and highly effective in communicating both verbally and written.
  • Ability to solve complex problems using best practices, knowledge of internal and external business issues to provide a new perspective on existing solutions and/or create new solutions.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
