Description
Your tasks include
- Independent creation of piping concepts under process engineering aspects from concept development to basic and detailed engineering to installation for plants in the (petro)chemical, energy, and oil and gas industries
- Preparation of piping plans, isometrics, parts lists, and support drawings based on P&ID diagrams
- Conducting on-site surveys
- Conceptual layout planning
- Preparation of tender documents
- Technical supervision of the planning team and quality control of the planning process
- Coordination of interfaces with other departments and support in project execution
What you bring
- Successfully completed technician training or degree in mechanical engineering/process engineering or equivalent qualification
- Proven several years of practical experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
- Sound knowledge of CAD systems (e.g. Microstation, AutoCAD plant 3D)
- Experience with piping classes and application of relevant standards and regulations
- Experience with pipe static calculations and support design desirable
- Independent, goal-oriented, and structured way of working
- Customer and solution-oriented thinking and acting
- High level of self-initiative and willingness to perform
- Enjoy working in a team
