- Receive inbound shipments from UPS and Fed-Ex, deliver to appropriate individuals and document for tracking purposes
- Prepare packages for outbound shipping
- Create purchase orders and issue to technicians and suppliers to materials, tools, supplies, etc.
- Assist with material warranty processing and returns
- Assist with annual physical inventory
- Responsible to lock tool room, exterior warehouse doors, and gates at end of day.
- Assist in keeping tool/parts room clean and well organized at all times.
- Issue tools and equipment to field personnel as required.
- Ensure return of issued tools and equipment back to the tool room after use.
- Assist to maintain and update records in tool management software system.
- Perform annual and periodic inventory checks of tools to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Assist to ensure useable and safe condition of tools
- Repair of tools as requested by Tool Manager
- Proficient with computer systems. Experience with inventory control systems a plus.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
