Description

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes marketing plans with the Director of Communications and Marketing for the purpose of promoting the Academy's visibility and general recruitment efforts.
  • Oversees and approves the production of all print materials, ads and social media posts designed for student recruitment.
  • Conducts open houses and other events in accordance with the marketing plan; coordinates with other departments for support for open houses and other events.
  • Travels on behalf of the Academy for recruitment and other related events.
  • Speaks publicly to individuals and groups on and off campus.
  • Develops and maintains close working relationships with key secondary school constituents.
  • Meets enrollment goals for assigned target recruitment area.
  • Develops and monitors statistical reports to enhance recruitment strategies, yield management, forecasting and operational efficiency.
  • Executes plans for the admissions staff to visit public and private middle and high schools and meet guidance counselors to recruit students.
  • Develops and delivers oncampus events and programs for prospective students and their families.
  • Coordinates with other departments regarding the reenrollment of students.
  • Recruits for the summer programs.
  • Uses outstanding sales skills to close the admissions process for enrollment.
  • Develops and maintains an approved budget to accomplish all of the above.
Applicant Management

  • Reviews all potential enrollees and comments on suitability.
  • Leads the Admissions Committee in the review of all applicants for admission.
  • Maintains and presents records and reports.
  • Assists in the development of policies regarding the awarding of financial aid and administers appropriate awards in accordance with approved policy.
  • Evaluates and executes admissions decisions.
Department Leadership

  • Hires, trains and supervises team members; conducts periodic evaluations and counseling of team members; develops and enforces employee work schedules which eliminates the need for overtime, which fits within the assigned budget, and which ensures adequate staffing of the department by maintaining standards of performance for employees.
  • Assists in the development, maintenance and execution of the department's communication plan to prospective and admitted students.
  • Supervises and manages the support staff of the department.
  • Maintains event and meeting schedules for the department and advises of changes of conflict.
This is a full time, 12 month position.

Pay:
$80, $90,000.00 per year
