Description
Riggs Companies is seeking a dependable Backhoe Operator for our local concrete company.


Responsibilities:


  • Must be able to read and fill out daily job tickets and communicate clearly with our dispatchers and supervisor.
  • Perform pre & post trip inspections as required by company and federal regulations.
  • Understand blue stake (811) markings
  • Follow all company safety policies and practices.
  • Grease, oil and do daily maintenance
  • Able to perform safe and clean trench, excavation, and back filling.

Qualifications:


  • Strong work ethic.
  • Clean driving Record
Must be able to obtain a Class A CDL within 3 months of being hired.

  • Valid medical card
  • At least 3 years of experience Operating Backhoes
  • Able to operate 420 Cat efficiently to maintain project specification.
  • Mechanical knowledge of equipment and able to perform Routine Maintenance.
  • Pre-Employment physical and drug testing are required.
  • Must have good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour

  • High school or equivalent (preferred)
