Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Establish and maintain quality control processes throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, from incoming materials inspection to final product testing.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review product specifications and ensure manufacturability and quality requirements are met.
- Manage a team of quality inspectors and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of quality control activities.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics and performance indicators to track trends, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a quality management role within a precision machining environment.
- Indepth knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, Six Sigma).
- Strong understanding of machining processes, metrology, and inspection techniques.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams and interfacing with customers and suppliers.
- Proficient in quality management software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or similar certification preferred.
Pay:
$110, $150,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
