Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Establish and maintain quality control processes throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, from incoming materials inspection to final product testing.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review product specifications and ensure manufacturability and quality requirements are met.
  • Manage a team of quality inspectors and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of quality control activities.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics and performance indicators to track trends, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a quality management role within a precision machining environment.
  • Indepth knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, Six Sigma).
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, metrology, and inspection techniques.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with crossfunctional teams and interfacing with customers and suppliers.
  • Proficient in quality management software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or similar certification preferred.

Pay:
$110, $150,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
