    NCW is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for a direct hire position in Indianapolis, IN. In this position, you will supervise a staff of 10-20 at the Distribution Center ensuring the safe, timely, and cost-effective receiving and returns of finished goods.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for receipt of finished goods and returns to domestic and international customers and distributors.
    • Maintain appropriate and accurate record keeping and data management systems and is effective liaison with transportation providers and internal and external customers.
    • Ensures high levels of customer service and satisfaction by coordinating supply chain activities with the Manufacturing, Planning, and Sourcing groups.
    • Coordinate activities for and provide direction to team leaders in charge of daily operations as well as other employees assigned to the area of responsibility.
    • Develop and/or maintain the required material handling procedures and work instructions for the department.
    • Ensure daily cycle counts are taken and provide the Director with monthly reports on the outcome.
    • Responsible for proper operation of equipment, including the training and instruction of operators on equipment use, and the requisitioning of needed equipment maintenance.
    • Work with cross-functional groups to ensure traffic between warehouse points and customers is coordinated and managed optimally.
    • Coordinate and lead special projects affecting domestic and international warehouse operations.
    • Other duties assigned.

    EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred, in lieu of degree minimum of 5-10 years of warehouse supervisory leadership experience.
    • Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
