What does your training involve:
  • Training duration: 3 years
  • Partner (theory): State Vocational School for Health and Social Affairs Jena
  • Final exam: End of 3rd year of training, a state-recognized degree
What tasks can you expect:

You can expect varied and exciting tasks, where you will learn, among other things:

  • to care for diverse medical conditions in patients of all ages
  • to carry out and document your nursing activities
  • to accompany, advise, and instruct our patients and their families
  • to respond to individual needs and complaints
  • to independently perform medically prescribed measures and assist in diagnosis and therapy
What are the admission requirements:
  • a good secondary school leaving certificate or another recognized equivalent qualification or
  • secondary school leaving certificate or another recognized equivalent qualification with a completed vocational training
  • enjoyment and interest in caring for people of all ages and their recovery and development
  • no reservations about interacting with patients
  • resilience, empathy, teamwork, responsibility, and communication skills
