    Position at Ruppert Landscape Maintenance

    Ruppert is a commercial construction company combined as a privately and employee owned specialty contractor.     Position Description:

    Responsibilities:.
    • Develop a clear understanding of your field manager's strengths, weaknesses, and professional and personal goals. Based on this knowledge, take an active role in their development within the company in an effort to respond to personnel needs in and out of your branch.
    • Maintain a constant recruiting effort to address personnel needs in the production area company-wide.
    • Develop by hand or computer, depending on size, profitable estimates for enhancement work as needed to hit sales objectives.
    • Prepare job packages and billings for all enhancement jobs you sell.
    • Develop a clear understanding of the hourly and cost budgets for each of your jobs. Monitor by reviewing job costs regularly. Communicate job cost information to field managers on a regular basis to control hours and costs.
    • Monitor the quality of our service through regular job site visits. Evaluate site performance by completing one field report/inspection report per quarter for the last three quarters of the year.
    • Oversee all hard material purchases for the branch.
    • Coordinate all deliveries of material to and from jobsites
    • Schedule all enhancement crews and maintain properly staffed crews.
    • Conduct formal certification training and informal training sessions on a regular basis.
    • Write purchase orders and approve invoices for all purchases made.
    • Update the enhancement sales sheet for all enhancement sales monthly.
    • Help to maintain branch fleet and equipment that reflect our image and provide a safe operating environment for our employees.
    • Prospect for leads and make sure they get included in the branch's prospecting system.
    Qualifications:
    • Demonstrated ability and two years' experience managing others on the production level, including recruiting, hiring, performing evaluations, and training and development.
    • Demonstrated skill and ability in sales and customer service. Must have at least two years of experience dealing directly with service customers.
    • Demonstrated skill and ability in managing the production of service work. At least two years of experience running more than one project at a time.
    • Demonstrated ability and at least one year of experience estimating enhancement-type work.
    • Valid commercial driver's license with a clean record over the last three years.

    Responsabilidades

    • Desarrolle una comprensin clara de las fortalezas, debilidades y objetivos profesionales y personales de su gerente de campo. Con base en este conocimiento, tome un papel activo en su desarrollo dentro de la empresa en un esfuerzo por responder a las necesidades de personal dentro y fuera de su sucursal.
    • Mantener un esfuerzo de reclutamiento constante para atender las necesidades de personal en el rea de produccin de toda la empresa.
    • Supervisar todas las rotaciones de colores estacionales.
    • Desarrollar a mano o por computadora, segn el tamao, estimaciones rentables para el trabajo de mejora segn sea necesario para alcanzar los objetivos de ventas.
    • Prepare paquetes de trabajo y facturaciones para todos los trabajos de mejora que venda.
    • Comprenda claramente los presupuestos y costos por horas para cada uno de sus trabajos. Regularmente, revise los costos del trabajo y comunique la informacin de costos de trabajo a los gerentes de campo para controlar las horas y los costos.
    • Supervisar la calidad de nuestro servicio a travs de visitas peridicas al lugar de trabajo. Evale el rendimiento del sitio completando un informe de campo/informe de inspeccin por trimestre durante los ltimos tres trimestres del ao. Aborde cualquier inquietud del cliente dentro de las 24 horas.
    • Supervisar todas las compras de material slido para la sucursal.
