Description

Plan a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students (3rd - 5th Grade).

• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
• Actively access professional development materials and evolve/improve curriculum.
• Assume normal duties required of all faculty members as outlined in the employment contract.
• Serve as a content expert and seek out opportunities to expand his or her knowledge.
• Exhibit a growth mindset and continually improve the way he or she operates.
• Master diverse teaching styles and thoughtfully select the appropriate teaching style for the material and students.
• Evaluate student progress effectively, keeping records and reports required by the school.
• Constantly challenge course lesson plans to align with best practices and updated knowledge.
• Build appropriate and professional mentorship relationships with students.
• Follow directives of the principal and regulations as set forth in the school employee handbook.
