Global Head of HR, MedTech Digital,
based in Santa Clara CA or Raritan, NJ.**As a Business Unit
Global Head of HR, MedTech Digital, **you will provide strategic HR partnership in support of the Digital & Software organizations across JNJ's $30B MedTech (MT) sector.
This team recently launched JNJ's POLYPHONIC digital ecosystem - connecting medical capital equipment & digital solutions products across the portfolio.
You will contribute to shaping business strategy, and drive aligned outcomes in these focus areas:- Leverage internal and external insights to diagnose and design organizations optimized to achieve strategic goals
- Design and deploy datadriven talent strategies that curate the talent and capabilities required to deliver
- Shape and steward our culture and employee experiences that will attract, inspire, and retain top talent
- Accelerate performance through leadership coaching and team effectiveness
- Partner across our OneHR model to deliver on talent and organizational strategies

Ensuring business intimacy:

Drive Digital Convergence:Unify digital roadmap, clarify & mobilize shared opportunities across business units.

Create Horizontal Capabilities:Drive adoption of common reusable platform components (Connectivity, UI, etc.) & partners (MSFT).

Create Transparency and Accountability:Support cultural strategies that support an environment of trust, commitment, and results across all digital teams for increased success & impact.
- Evaluate appropriate business, financial, or other drivers across groups to inform HR solutions (e.g., assess effectiveness, identify capability gaps)
- Lead numerous change management and talent initiatives that span the sector in pursuit of delivering a unified customer experience, common Digital Platform development, adoption of reusable digital components, and shared Digital capabilities.
- Serves as a bridge and partner between R&D, Johnson & Johnson Technology and Commercial across all Business Units and regions to facilitate capability building support.
- Supports Digital Acquisition & Divestiture supports partner & licensing decisions, deal due diligence, and integration support to rapidly onboard new digital ecosystem partners to the Digital Product operating model.
Talent strategy and management to build organizational capability:
Shape and lead MedTech's Digital Talent Strategy roadmap , including but not limited to, Digital capability building (e.g., Software Development, AI/ML, Data Science, Omnichannel, Health Tech), change management, skill assessment, leader upskilling, digital operating model evolution, and location strategy, ultimately strengthening MT's digital EVP.
Develops and executes a strategic workforce plan (build/buy/partner) across all regions and MT functions to deliver digital capability needs across end-to-end business model (patient journey, supply chain, professional education, R&D, commercial, automation, data & analytics).
- Execute DE&I strategy in partnership with the business
- Partner across OneHR model to assess current state and enhance capability through buy/build/borrow strategy in partnership with Talent Acquisition/Access and J&J Learn
Promoting collaboration culture & Engagement:

Serve as a connector across a network of 200+ HR professionals to drive Digital transformation, change management, and HR upskilling.
- Partner with business leaders to shape culture and employee engagement strategies guided by Our Credo/Our Voice survey insights, employee sentiment, attrition and exit survey insights, predictive retention modeling, etc.
- Identify, define, and help build key mindsets/behaviors for the business in partnership with business leaders
- Drive culture of Our Credo, growth, collaboration, and inclusion within teams
Leadership coaching and effectiveness
- Develop trusted partnerships and coaching relationships with leaders and teams to build leadership capabilities and enhance leader impact
- Partner with business leaders on team effectiveness program options and identification of facilitators
- Ensure meaningful engagement, development, energy, and effective performance of team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years professional experience, including managerial experience coaching and leading talent; minimum of 7 years of progressive HR or HR related experience required
- This position will be located in Santa Clara, CA or Raritan, NJ and require up to 30% travel.
