    Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.

    Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Belmont, CA

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct one-on-one behavioral intervention and support to the 6th-grade student.
    • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
    • Collect data on the student's behaviors and responses to interventions.
    • Use crisis management techniques to safely manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors.
    • Collaborate with the BCBA, teachers, and other school staff to ensure consistency in implementing behavior strategies.
    • Communicate regularly with the BCBA and other team members regarding the student's progress and any concerns.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with valid certification.
    • Previous experience working with individuals with moderate to severe behavioral challenges, preferably in a school setting.
    • Crisis management training and experience required (e.g., CPI, Safety Care, Handle with Care, etc.).
    • Strong understanding of behavior principles and behavior intervention strategies.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting students with special needs.
