Unissant is looking for a
Data Analyst to join our team and support our customer in
Washington DC.

This is a 100% Remote position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Analyzes and organizes technical data and reports into summaries for management review, defining problems, performing evaluations, and offering possible solutions.
  • Manage and manipulate large hierarchical data sets, develop data science approaches, and manage data science tasks.
  • Performs validation and testing of data through independent analysis.
  • Conducts advanced research and analysis in assigned functional area.
  • Monitors data submissions, reviews quality of data and coordinates with the team to resolve data quality issues.
  • Verifies data in the Tableau dashboards.
  • Conducts adhoc data analysis as requested.

Work Experience:


  • 10 years of experience in the related field.
  • Experience in social sciences, statistics, health policy, mathematics or research is desirable.
  • Experience in providing analytic reports and tables to support contractual deliverables.
  • Experience creating and administering Tableau dashboards.
  • Experience preparing data reports.
  • Experience using hierarchical datasets to conduct complex analyses in SAS.
  • Experience with SAS data management and complex data analysis activities with little to no supervision.
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous improvement environment.

Job Skills:


  • Knowledge of and basic skills to support the use of SPSS and SQL is highly preferred.
  • Ability to develop and maintain rigorous quality control procedures for internal and external deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints.
  • Ability to effectively interface with staff at all levels.
  • Strong critical/analytical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • High energy level, adaptive and a strong team player with a good work ethic

Education:


  • Master's degree or equivalent with at least 10 years of experience in a related field.

  • N/A

Communication Skills:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise technical architecture documents.

Travel:


  • N/A

Environmental Requirements:


  • Mainly sedentary; in an office environment.
  • May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds
  • Flexible in working extended hours
