Description

Upscale casual dining restaurant Lokal Eatery & Bar, located at the gorgeous waterfront in Jersey City is looking for experienced bussers / back servers to support the serving crew by going above and beyond in their roles and to share the vision of the restaurant of delivering exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities include:

Removing tableware like dishes and utensils to keep tables from becoming too crowded
Clearing tables of dirty utensils, napkins and dishes and cleaning surfaces so that they're ready for the next guests
Ensuring the availability of clean dishes, flatware, glasses, straws and napkins for tables
Helping the Dishwashers by sorting and organizing used tableware and readying it for washing
Delivering food and helping with refills to aid Food Servers during peak restaurant times
Cleaning any spills in the kitchen and dining areas
Keeping the restrooms clean
Polishing glasses/silverware/plates
Making coffee during Brunch rush hour
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry's best practices
Punctual and respectful

1-2 years prior Bussing experience in upscale restaurant REQUIRED
