In your role as a specialist (m/f/d) for non-destructive testing, you will work with international teams in the field service. Most of the time, you will be on site at customer assignments in power plants, but also in our factory in Mülheim an der Ruhr and our global service workshops. Here, you will not only use basic applications for non-destructive testing (NDT), but also inspect power plant components with self-developed testing techniques to detect material defects in highly stressed components. For our customers on site, you are an expert (m/f/d) in technical procedures and possible measures.

How you can make a difference
  • Conducting conventional ultrasonic (UT) and eddy current testing (ET)
  • Coordination and management of internal and external NDT personnel at construction sites for turbine set overhauls
  • Documentation of performed work and findings for further evaluation by engineering
  • Targeted use of your experience in field service to initiate further developments and secure technological competitive advantages
What you bring
  • Successfully completed university studies in the field of materials engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering, ideally with a focus on materials engineering or materials testing, or alternatively a technical training in the field of metal or electrical engineering with several years of professional
