Activity Leader at Adult Day Care Center in the Bronx

An adult day care center located in the Bronx is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Activity Leader to join our team.

As an Activity Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of activity staff in engaging our clients in stimulating physical and emotional activities.

Your role will involve keeping the clients engaged during the program.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of activity staff to ensure the successful implementation of stimulating activities for our clients.
Engage clients in both physically and emotionally stimulating activities to enhance their overall wellbeing.
Maintain client engagement throughout the program duration.
Develop and maintain the activity calendar monthly, including daily activities, weekly trips, and weekly entertainment.
Schedule and organize weekly trips and entertainment options for our clients.
Coordinate with vendors and external providers to arrange for weekly entertainment.
Order all necessary activity supplies monthly to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in an adult day care center or a related field.
Strong leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create and maintain an engaging and stimulating environment for our clients.
Organizational skills to manage the activity calendar and coordinate weekly trips and entertainment.
Attention to detail in ordering activity supplies.
Being bilingual fluent (Spanish, English)

Pay:
$35, $50,000.00 per year
