    We have a great skill set in networking, monitoring and deployments and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in configuration management, continuous integration & continuous deployments
    Bachelors' degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study or equivalent work experience
    5+ years of professional DevOps or system administration experience
    Experience using Python, Bash, and/or Ruby
    Experience working with Microsoft Office products
    Ability to work with software configuration management systems

    Experience with:
    Servers/computer hardware and software; DNS, including diagnostics with Unix tools; Deep understanding of networks and common protocols; Linux, Unix, Windows
    Proficiency in development supporting tools such as various VCS (Git, SVN, etc.)
    Deep Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies with Jenkins or similar
    Knowledgeable in Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Saltstack
    Auto scaling knowledge
    Advanced knowledge in monitoring and performance statistical analysis
    Effective execution working in a distributed team model, including successful consensus-building and managing complex interdependencies
    Ability to support systems after hours or on weekends
    Responsibilities

    As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will have an important role in helping Clarivate build the resources that empower librarians, faculty, and students to create extraordinary outcomes
    You will be responsible for configuration management and deployment of platforms, as well as driving the transition to a fully cloud-based platform

    You will have the opportunity to work with many of the exciting DevOps tools such as AWS, Jenkins, Datadog, Chef, and many more.

    Interacting with the lead software development organization on a day-to-day basis by gathering and organization build requirements, providing status, and ensuring that the stakeholders are informed and satisfied with the end product
    Building and maintaining different software environments and source control systems
    Deploy products and maintaining build infrastructure
    Creating tools to support the development organization
    Executing on multiple projects at one time, balancing numerous needs, yet still delivering on time
    Overseeing applications and systems of a complex nature
    Providing training and mentorship to other team members
    Qualifications

    About the Team


    Our team is a part of the larger Academia and Government group and supports all of the 'ProQuest' related products.

    Our internal stakeholders are all of the development teams that we work closely with to assist and delivery those products.

    There are 7 individuals on the DevOps Engineering team comprised of smart individuals who accept challenges and deliver results on a daily basis.

    Our daily work can vary depending on the needs of our customers, but we are seen as the team that can always provide creative, robust and secure solutions that best fits our customer's needs.

    Hours of Work


    • Full time, regular business hours
    • This position is a hybrid role working 2-3 days a week in a US Clarivate office
