Job Overview:
Patriot Strategies is currently hiring a forward-leaning, resourceful, team-focused Proposal and Business Development Support Manager to join a world-class Growth organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support the overall proposal development process for assigned opportunities
- Interpret technical and management requirements of Federal Government solicitations and provide support to the proposal team.
- Develop proposal/Task Order outlines according to requirements; facilitate and support proposal sessions.
- Iteratively review content and provide feedback to authors.
- Manage team members to meet proposal/Task Order milestones and deadlines.
- Maintain a forwardleaning posture that is always willing to wear extra hats as needed to help the team submit compliant, concise, and compelling bids.

- Support teams who are largely virtual or remote.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions quickly yet seek guidance when appropriate.
- Ability to maintain courteous and professional working relationships with employees at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Strong working knowledge of the Federal Government contracting.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree (or 7 years of relatable work experience)
- 5 years related work experience in the Federal Government contracting / Proposal Management or related roles.
- 3 years of experience with Federal Government procurement practices including basic understanding of FAR/DFAR requirements and standard Federal Government solicitation organization
- 3 years of experience supporting a broad range of proposals, from quickturn task orders to largescale and complex IDIQ or GWAC bids.
- 3 years of experience in the delivery of compelling and compliant proposals in a competitive environment.
- 5 years of experience using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Adobe Acrobat
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Government agencies.
- Understanding of the Shipley process is desired but not required.

From $90,000.00 per year
