    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in overall administration, planning, installation and reporting for a large, complex electrical construction project in Kansas City, MO.


    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Assist Project Manager in supervising the project through purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation.
    Maintain and develop good customer relations.

    Manage assigned projects as economically as possible while recognizing a company commitment to quality workmanship, positive industry image and customer satisfaction.

    Assist in preparing, processing and maintaining all files, correspondence, schedules, reports, billing, etc. necessary to perform the responsibilities of the contract.
    Responsible for purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
    High school diploma or equivalent.
    Two (2) year degree in electrical construction, construction management or similar discipline required with Bachelor's degree preferred.
    National Electrical Code knowledge/experience.
    Drawing/blueprint reading and specification experience.
    Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word computer skills. Microsoft Project and CAD experience a plus.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
    Travel as necessary. Valid driver's license required.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    This job operates at a job site and exposed to hazards typical of a construction site.

    This position may require closed toed shoes, as well as occasional use of a personal protective equipment (PPE) that includes, but is not limited to, hard hat and eye protection.

    Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl.
    This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax machines.
    This position may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
