    Description

    External Job Description

    Aerotek is hiring for entry level or experience candidates to join a team in Buffalo Grove assembling motors and automated drives. Units will be put together using tools. No experience necessary If you are someone who is detail oriented, interested in this line of work, or just love cars or mechanics then this is an excellent position for you No previous assembly experience is required

    Duties:

    • Assembly parts that will be fitted together to make motors
    • Pack parts for shipping
    • Picking items to be used in assembly
    • Perform inspection of products to ensure no defects
    • Cleaning components to prevent damage while shipping

    Shifts:

    1st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri

    *OT is optional and until 6pm

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Mechanical aptitude preferred
    • Previous production experience preferred
    • Ability to stand for 8 hours a day
    • Ability to read a computer screen
    • Read detailed instructions

    Work Environment:

    Extremely clean environment. Temperature controlled facility. Production floor is divided into various cells where employees work within teams of 4-5 people.
