- Collaborate with various teams and leadership to develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on products, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
- Investigate customer complaints and internal non-conformances, leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in new product development projects, providing input on design for manufacturability and quality.
- Support supplier quality management activities, including audits and supplier performance evaluations.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality management.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to quality control and compliance activities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in quality management and manufacturing processes.
- Recommend innovative approaches, policies, and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality department and its services.
- Cultivate a positive work environment that aligns with the company's values and culture.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
- >5 years of experience in a quality role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Analytical proficiency in data analysis tools and quality data software (Minitab, JMP, etc.).
- Experience with cost-of-quality reporting, including scrap, spoilage, yield rates, etc.
- Experience with supplier quality management, including audits and supplier performance evaluations.
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.
- >3 years of experience in a quality role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.) and quality tools (FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Proven experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action methodologies.
- Proficiency in basic statistical analysis, including very strong Excel skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver presentations and training to diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking and prioritizing.

POSITION OVERVIEW As a Quality Engineer at Republic Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our products and processes. Your primary responsibilities will involve developing and implementing quality assurance protocols to satisfy customer requirements, ensuring that Republic's ISO9001:2015 standards are met, conducting inspections and audits, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives. This role reports to the Vice President of Quality Assurance and will be part of the Quality Assurance team. Work Environment:
This position is designed to be performed on-site in Dallas, Texas and will be performed in both climate-controlled and not climate-controlled environments. The position requires a 40-45 work week, Monday through Friday – specific working hours are to be established in coordination with the position's direct manager. The person in this role will be required to maintain a flexible work schedule to achieve quality objectives and may need to accommodate quality-related activities across different working shifts and time zones if necessary. Travel will be required for the position, but for approx. 5% of the year.
