- Implements written environment, health, and safety programs, ensuring safe working conditions for all employees and compliance with company safety policies as well as all laws and regulations.
- Conduct incident investigations to find the root cause analysis and develop accident investigation programs, develop accident trends, and develop programs for improving performance.
- Assists in the development of written hazardous waste management procedures, audits, and training of employees.
- Manages and maintains Safety Data Sheet (SDS) program with customers.
- Supports emergency response plan according toprocedure (for evacuation, life safety, ERT response, first aid, etc.).
- Aids in conducting internal audits.
- Advocates and promotes 6S implementation for the entire work environment
- Ensures vendors, contractors, and third-party employees are compliant to the company health and safety standards.
- Represents the company with governmental agencies and other organizations concerned with public and employees.
- Conducts daily walk throughs of the manufacturing areas to establish EHS presence and provide support.
- Interpret, distill, and present complicated and/or technical information to employees, customers, and others in understandable and relatable terms to aid and enhance levels of understanding and implementation.
- Use and operate a computer, office equipment and other technology devices frequently and consistently throughout each day with a high degree of skill, accuracy, and independent judgment for the purpose of reviewing, analyzing, creating, transmitting, and presenting documents, data, and other business-related information.
- Perform other necessary duties and tasks as requested.
- In-depth understanding of environment, health and safety management principles, programs, and policies.
- Familiarity with environment, health and safety standards, laws & regulations of federal, state, and local levels, including but not limited to DEQ, EPA, OSHA, dangerous chemical hazard control, fire and building codes, SDS and GHS rules.
- Willing to work with the Plant Manufacturing Group as a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground EHS support that will build relationships with operation teams and employees.
- Demonstrated leadership skills as well as being a team player to organize and manage project teams.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (both oral and written)
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.

EH&S Coordinator

Job Summary:
Helps to monitor company EHS policies, and ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. The essential functions of this position require prioritizing and completing all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner, adjusting for changing priorities and availability of resources, and demonstrating initiative in identifying additional job-related tasks to be completed when time permits. The amount of time performing each function may vary day-to-day. All duties shall be performed in an efficient and professional manner in accordance with the company policies and under the direct supervision of a designated supervisor.
B.S or an equivalent education in Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, Industrial Hygienist, or a related field and/or relevant professional experience is required. Previous work in environmental health & safety management or equivalent knowledge is preferred but not required.
Skills:
Work Schedule: Days 8:00 am. to 5:00 pm.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $60, $63,000.00
