- Load furnace and operate all equipment and machinery to ensure quality and productivity standards are achieved.
- Set and monitor required furnace levels of controller to achieve desired results.
- Operate overhead crane to load and unload parts into the vacuum furnaces.
- Monitor all aspects of furnace operation to ensure parameters remain within specification requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and logs as required.
- Read and interpret traveler instructions, procedures and drawings.
- Measure dimensional tolerance using proper tools and equipment.
- May perform routine maintenance.
- May recommend effective and efficient process updates.
- Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
- Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.
- Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
- 1 or more year of experience or equivalent of education and experience.
- Ability to operate, control and watch gauges, dials or other indicators, computer workstation and related hardware/software.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and measuring devices.
- Ability to use and operate overhead crane for movement of parts.
- Ability understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
- Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to use basic mathematical equations.
