- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Linux systems administration (RedHat preferred)
- Combination of DevOps administration and Linux systems administration
- Strong understanding of scripting languages (bash, python, perl etc.)
- Experience with enterprise services such as NFS, email, web servers, DNS, storage, patch management, configuration management, etc.
- Understanding of network principals
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with VMWare or other virtualization platforms
- Familiarity with Linux automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge and experience with git, github, and other source code management tools.
- Extensive knowledge of Python, bash, CMake, and other scripting languages.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms, such as virtual machines and containers.
- Knowledge of basic administration of server applications, such as apache, MySQL, mediaWiki, Squid, NFS, DHCP, DNS
- BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field;
- Experience implementing Department of Defense security requirements such as OS/application hardening, STIG compliance
- Experience with operating air-gapped infrastructure is a big plus
- Experience with ACAS/Tenable.
- Understanding of enterprise storage solutions (NetApp preferred)
- Experience with UNIX operating systems (Solaris is a plus)
- Experience with database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL preferred)
