Overview:

IT Systems Analyst III - Corporate Solutions

  • Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
  • Monday
  • Friday; Hours will vary.


  • Hybrid

  • Must be willing to travel to Downers Grove Corporate Office.

Responsibilities:


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting in planning/analyzing of highlevel software strategies & solutions through functional and technical expertise including planning/managing upgrades
  • Identify ways to foster a team environment. Look for opportunities to increase the knowledge sharing amongst the rest of the IT department and with our partners and customers. (40%)
  • Provide training and coaching to other members of the IT department (including Analysts I and II).
  • Working with endusers to address and resolve technology issues which arise with daily operational use of supported hardware and software solutions
  • Supporting and mentoring lesstechnical and/or lessexperienced system and business analysts during system design and maintenance
  • Interact directly with other team members, physicians, and endusers, to understand business problems and help to identify solutions.
  • Working with endusers to help them understand the defined workflows and system functionality.
  • Working with endusers and other team members to identify when new workflows or functionality is required to meet their individual needs.
  • Identifying, analyzing, escalating, and resolving critical initiative risks and issues. (20%)
  • Documenting system requirements, release notes, test plans, training documentation, etc. as required by our project delivery methodology.
  • Coordinate with other administrative and support teams within DMG (i.e., compliance, patient accounts).
  • Focus on continuous improvement within the IT department.
  • Ensure that every business customer that approaches IT has a positive experience.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Level of Education
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or 4 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's Degree a plus.


Years of Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years if incumbent has bachelor's degree
    OR 9 years if incumbent doesn't have bachelor's degree

Describe Type of Experience

  • Software development experience with Microsoft tools (e.g.,.Net Framework (2.0, 3.0, 3.5), C#, ASP.Net, TFS & SQL Server).
  • Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, IIS, SharePoint Server and/or BizTalk not required but beneficial.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Previous experience demonstrating process improvements.
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA)

  • Familiarity with database design and usage
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain composure and clarity of thought under pressure
  • Proven success in contributing to a teamoriented environment
  • Desire to identify and drive change initiatives within an organization
  • Interpersonal flexibility
  • Knowledge of HL7 helpful
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
