Role and Responsibilities:

Sourcing: Identifying suppliers, negotiating terms, and purchasing goods or materials required by the company. This includes researching potential vendors, evaluating their capabilities and pricing, and selecting the best suppliers to meet the company's needs.

Supplier Management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, including communicating expectations, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules. This may involve conducting supplier assessments, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing improvement initiatives.

Order Processing:Managing the end-to-end process of placing and tracking orders, including generating purchase orders, coordinating shipments, and verifying receipt of goods. This requires attention to detail, accuracy, and effective communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Quality Control: Ensuring that products meet specified quality standards and regulatory requirements. This involves implementing quality control measures throughout the supply chain, conducting inspections and audits, and addressing any quality issues or non-conformities that arise.

Logistics and Shipping: Coordinating the transportation of goods from suppliers to the company's facilities or distribution centers. This includes selecting appropriate shipping methods, arranging for customs clearance, and managing logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Inventory Management: Optimizing inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts. This involves forecasting demand, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing strategies such as just-in-time inventory management or safety stock replenishment.

Cost Management: Controlling costs and maximizing value for the company through effective negotiation, cost analysis, and supplier collaboration. This includes identifying opportunities for cost savings, implementing cost reduction initiatives, and optimizing total cost of ownership.

Risk Management:Identifying and mitigating risks related to supply chain disruptions, quality issues, regulatory compliance, and geopolitical factors. This requires proactive risk assessment, contingency planning, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to address potential threats to supply chain continuity.

$45, $65,000.00 per year
