Team Leader for Wastewater

Your tasks in the Environmental and Forestry Office:

  • Technical responsibility for wastewater and water quality, team leadership for the Wastewater team
  • Participation in expert committees for information exchange and decisionmaking on crossborder aspects of water quality management; communication with higher authorities or technical supervision on all matters related to wastewater disposal
  • Evaluation of technical guidelines and standards in the field of wastewater disposal and water quality, and their relevance to the work of the lower water authority
  • Writing expert opinions on wastewater and legal issues, as well as water quality; supporting the department head in addressing fundamental questions regarding wastewater disposal
  • Technical guidance for the employees of the Wastewater team; providing assistance in handling technically demanding issues and formulating corresponding administrative acts
  • Advising project sponsors, technical assessment and construction inspection for the construction and operation of wastewater facilities, including wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, sewers, and stormwater treatment facilities
  • Conducting water law approval procedures for wastewater facilities in particularly challenging projects
  • Advising those responsible for wastewater management on fundamental issues,
