Measures to protect and preserve the environment, nature and landscape, water and soil, as well as climate and air, contribute significantly to the quality of life in the city.

The department also manages and maintains all public green spaces, over 40 cemeteries, extensive forest areas, and play areas throughout the city.


The city of Bonn is currently seeking a
Geoinformatics Specialist or
Employee with a comparable degree to join the
Department of Environment and City Greenery at the earliest possible date.

This position is classified as
pay group 10 TVöD and will be located in the department's "Coordination and Service" division.
