Job Summary:


This position works within the scheduling team's fast paced dynamic, under the supervision of the Scheduling Coordinator, to write schedules, cover open shifts, and ensure that all persons served/clients are properly scheduled.


Essential Functions:

Maintain open and productive professionalism with entire organization through clear communication and writing skills.

Build and maintain schedules for Person Served / NHV Team Members

Cover open shifts:

PTO requests, sick call outs, no shows, Person Served schedule changes

Verify, and follow up, on notifications from time center, "QS Mobile"

Coordinate training shifts for all team members

Maintain attendance records of team members

Maintain open communication with time center software representatives to ensure proper function of time center

Assists in other projects or duties as assigned by leadership team


Requirements:


Qualifications:

Enjoys working in a constant fast paced and every changing role, while maintaining organization with good follow through and being a self-starter

Critical thinking, and "outside-the-box" solutions to unexpected challenges

Experience in schedule writing or maintenance a plus, but not required

Exemplify New Heights Ventures core values including service, inclusion, and integrity

Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with board members, supervisors, and team members

Willing to learn and adapt to various situations.

First Aid and CPR certified (Agency will reimburse hired employees re-certifying)


Physical Requirements
This role takes place in a typical office setting to include:

Ability to sit at a desk and use computer with related tools for an 8 hour work shift

Vision to independently view computer screen or printed materials and graphics

Ability to lift and carry office materials weighing up to 25 pounds

Hearing and speech skills to effectively communicate in English, in person, and over the telephone


Free from any physical limitations that would prevent the Scheduling Assistant from performing essential job duties, either with or without a reasonable accommodation.
