Your responsibilities in Ivanof Bay, AK:

  • Disciplinary and professional leadership of employees in a specific discipline according to leadership principles and guidelines, as well as the department's strategy
  • Formation of a professional framework and responsibility for the crossproject transfer of knowledge and competencies, as well as ensuring technological and methodological training and development of team members
  • Management of development resources for use in projects within given procedural conditions
  • Identification, establishment, and distribution of strategically relevant expertise
  • Support in designing workshops, such as evaluating and deriving measures for strategically relevant technological trends in order to identify futureproof technical and methodological innovations to maintain the department's marketability
  • Planning and coordination of the use of external service providers and partners
  • Participation in the software development process

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in computer science or a comparable IT degree, as well as extensive professional experience in software development
  • Indepth practical experience in designing and programming software systems, as well as knowledge in development at all levels of the stack (database, backend, frontend) and in networking
  • Proficient in using modern management, planning, control, and IT tools
  • Strong communication skills and social competence, as well as a strong interest in leading, coaching, and training employees
  • Ability to act economically and entrepreneurially, as well as a high identification with the company
  • Previous experience in managing and coordinating a team is desirable
  • Knowledge in project management, quality assurance, and requirements management.
