    The role of Mechanical Service Senior Sales OR Account Executive is instrumental in expanding Siemens' market presence by offering intelligent mechanical services that help customers lower operating costs, enhance uptime, and provide a comfortable, healthy indoor environment. In this position, you'll meet booking and profit targets by devising and executing plans to cultivate and manage end-user relationships, seize sales opportunities in the territory, and secure new business following our established criteria. Your expertise as a Senior Sales Executive at Siemens will directly contribute to helping customers save energy, reduce costs, and build a sustainable future.

    As a Mechanical Service Senior Sales OR Account Executive, you will:

    • Gain insights into the market, competitors, customers, and key decision-makers within the region and various sectors. Stay abreast of trends in automation, electrical, fire, mechanical, and IoT markets.
    • Formulate a strategic account and vertical market management plan for driving growth. Identify new business prospects and develop go-to-market strategies for end-users.
    • Sustain a qualified pipeline of opportunities to consistently achieve new order bookings and profitability goals.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and operations to ensure exceptional customer outcomes. Engage with other sales divisions for new projects and accounts.
    • Participate in industry-specific networking events and be actively involved in professional organizations like ASHRAE, AEE, or USGBC to expand your network and represent Siemens in the market.
    • Consult customers on technology requirements, budgeting, and position Siemens as a premier service provider in the industry.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, recommending services aligned with their business objectives, setting pricing, and coordinating with internal and external resources.

    Qualifications to make a difference:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical degree; candidates with significant HVAC service industry experience and a high school diploma or equivalent GED with a minimum of 5 years will be considered.
    • Three or more years of experience as a Senior Sales Executive in technical sales, business development, or consulting related to the Mechanical (HVAC) Service industry.
    • Seven or more years of experience as an Account Executive in technical sales, business development, or consulting related to the Mechanical (HVAC) Service industry.
    • Seven or more years of experience as a Senior Sales Executive in Mechanical Service Field/Operations.
    • Ten or more years of experience as an Account Executive in Mechanical Service Field/Operations.
    • Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.
    • Strong organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
    • Willingness to travel up to 10% overnight for training and business purposes.
    • Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver's license with minimal infractions.
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate or bachelor's degree.
    • Over 7 years of experience in the installation and servicing of Mechanical or HVAC equipment.
    • Financial acumen to estimate and sell technical service agreements and retrofit projects independently and effectively.
    • Ability to interpret design and construction documents.
    • Skilled in account development and strategic sales.
    • Knowledge of and established network relationships in local building markets, including building owners, maintenance contractors, and subcontractors in the mechanical industry.
    • Experience in vertical markets such as life sciences, healthcare, education, data centers, commercial offices, and government facilities.
    • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
