    Description
    We are seeking a full-time clinical psychologist specializing in eating disorder diagnosis and treatment. This position will work within an interprofessional team in the Eating Disorder Clinic at Akron Children's Hospital.

    The Eating Disorder team is currently comprised of three psychologists, three board-certified adolescent medicine physicians, two certified dietitians, and two RN case managers.

    The program currently provides inpatient medical stabilization with psychological support as well as outpatient management of eating disorders.

    The primary responsibilities of psychologists on the team include the delivery of evidence-based diagnostic and treatment services to the children and young adults aged 8-25, served by the Eating Disorders program in the Division of Adolescent Medicine This position offers excellent opportunities for collaboration with physicians, dietitians, nurses and other health care professionals as members of the multidisciplinary team.


    Supervision, teaching and training are available, including:

    supervision of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in psychology, teaching of pediatric residents, and training of child psychiatry fellows.
