WHAT WE'RE DOING
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems.
- Addressing various software needs including processingintensive analytics, realtime systems, and business management information systems.

- Testing software components to ensure alignment with design requirements and documenting test results.
- Resolving software problem reports and ensuring software reliability and functionality.
THE WORK
In this role you will:
- Continuously contribute to the creation of design solutions that address complex engineering problems across the full software cycle.
- Develop operational scenarios, based on the customer's goals and contractual requirements.
- Develop system requirements and architectures to ensure customer needs and contracts are appropriately translated into the products development cycle.
- Incrementally develop the product design and delivery optimization requirements.
- Act as a core member of a multidisciplinary team that represents all capabilities within DevSecOps, directly supporting software development and integration activities for the program.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with Linux operating systems to include installing, configuring and troubleshooting
- Programming experience with Python, Bash or Java. Class work counts.
- DevOps understanding. Coursework counts.
- Self starter, excited to learn and retain new concepts
Desired Skills:
- Understanding or familiarity with Gitlab, Coder, Kubernetes, Longhorn, AWS/Cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with configuration tools such as Ansible
- Experience developing and deploying CI/CD scripts

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
9x80 every other Friday off
