    RSM is currently seeking an Audit Manager to join our dynamic Insurance team. Our insurance division is a rapidly expanding sector within our firm, with a specific focus on insurance companies, where we lead the way in the middle market nationwide.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide high-quality client service that meets or exceeds expectations by coordinating financial statement audits, disclosures, and other client deliverables
    • Evaluate risks and communicate audit procedures to teams
    • Utilize RSM's Audit Methodology
    • Manage multiple engagement teams and conduct end-of-engagement evaluations
    • Supervise and coach Senior Associates and Supervisors
    • Oversee Audit Seniors and Supervisors on engagement teams
    • Maintain client communication throughout the year
    • Develop team members through training and career guidance
    • Stay informed about industry trends and share relevant information with clients
    • Address client concerns and identify improvement opportunities
    • Manage project profitability
    • Communicate accounting and auditing matters to Senior Managers and Partners
    • Ensure ongoing professional development
    • Stay updated on latest GAAP developments
    • Willingness to travel up to 25% based on client needs

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
    • CPA or CA Certification
    • 5+ years of experience in public accounting
    • Experience in team leadership and mentoring
    • Knowledge of audit services and regulations
    • Proven track record in building client relationships
    • Minimum 4 years of team lead experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Successful experience in directing staff on multiple engagements

    Compensation Range: $86,500 - $163,900

    Selected individuals may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
