Mid level Associate Attorney - Technology, Transactions and Sourcing

Location:
Chicago, Northern Virginia, and Washington D.C.

An AM Law 200 firm has an opening for a highly qualified mid level associate for its Technology Transactions and Sourcing (TTS) practice in Atlanta, New York City, or Washington D.C.

The firm's clientele includes some of the most prominent technology developers, vendors, buyers and licensees, including many Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies.

Qualifications:

36 years of experience in complex technology and intellectual property transactions
Experience with various agreements including: Software licensing and cloud service, Software, data, and IP development, Reseller and distribution, Ecommerce, AI/ML development, licensing, and services, Media, entertainment, and content licensing, Global IT, facilities, and BPO transactions, Digital infrastructure (data centers and telecom)
Experience conducting IP due diligence in M&A and corporate transactions (preferred)
Experience in drug/medical device development, data privacy/security, or government services (preferred)
Excellent analytical, writing, and project management skills
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and offices
Superior academic credentials from a toptier law school (including relevant coursework in business, technology, and IP law)

The starting base salary for this position is from $260,000 to $390,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, relevant experience and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.

$260, $390,000.00 per year
