We are currently seeking a
Full time Food Service Worker.

The Dietary Aide will provide and serve the highest quality of food to the patients and personnel and work to maintain the highest standards of preparation and sanitation.

The duties of the Food Service Worker include, but are not limited to:

Prepare meal trays on the patient tray line according to department standards and accuracy.
Deliver trays to patients and pick up empty trays when they are finished.
Pass and pick up completed menus, assist patients in filling out menus.
Break down the used carts and wash all items to be reused and dispose of those that are not.
Clean and sanitize assigned work areas per the sanitation checklist and all equipment used.
Empty trash into designated containers and clean out garbage cans.
Report any equipment problems or hazardous condition immediately to the supervisor on duty.
Date and label all unused food products and make sure that they are stored properly per sanitary guidelines.
Work as the pot and pan washer and observe all sanitation guidelines.
Work in the dish room, scrape dirty trays and all other wares. Run the dish machine. Bring clean items to the proper areas.
Work as a cashier in the cafeteria.
Serve all customers in the cafeteria with respect and a smile.
Prep salads and desserts according to customer/patient count and observe sanitary guidelines while doing so.
Take assigned temperatures and document properly.
Maintain professional appearance and wear the proper uniform for the position working.
