Description
Works with Child Nutrition Manager and Child Nutrition Specialists to planappropriate programming in health and nutrition.
- Travels to different locations to serve as a "substitute" when a Foodservice staff
- Mentors and guides Foodservice Staff to demonstrate proper production procedures
adhered to.
- Ensures implementation of correct procedures for food receiving and storage, food
operation and cleaning as required by Texas Department of Agriculture Child and
Adult Care Food Program and all other local, state and federal.
- Conducts monitoring for the following: (a) food production records (b) kitchen safety
- Assists in the preparation for monitoring of USDA food programs by state and local
- Assists Child Nutrition Manager with meeting all reporting responsibilities for Head
Experience:
Preferred
- Less than 2 year(s): Experience with USDA food program
Education:
Preferred
- Bachelors or better in Dietetics or related field
