Section Manager (Mechanical Engineering) Ref: HN45644

A Japanese manufacturer is currently seeking a Section Manager for their Mechanical Engineering team in Nuremberg, Germany.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for motivating and supporting the Deputy Manager Engineer to enhance operations.

There may be a training program in Japan (2-4 weeks) after the probation period.

TYPE: Full-time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 8:30-17:00 from Monday to Friday (8 hours per day + 30 minutes' lunch break), 39 hours / week

SALARY: TBD

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Nuremberg, Germany (Currently at least 2 days in the office, 3 days' work from home – this may change depending on the company's decision.)

Engineering Manager Main Responsibilities:


• Understand the company's philosophy and vision, align the team's goals, and provide guidance


• Report to the General Manager and Senior General Manager


• Guide and support Engineering team members in their main tasks


• Make proposals to the manager regarding mid-term activity planning for the Engineering team
