Description

Direct and oversee the daily activities of the inventory staff, analyze inventory data, and ensure accuracy of inventory records.

Develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies, provide accurate inventory information to assist Purchasing in the ordering and replenishment of inventory.

• Monitor and analyze inventory levels ensuring that perpetual inventory records are accurate.
• Oversee the receipt, storage and inventory movement and related inventory transactions.
• Coordinate with QC to ensure only inventory that meets product specifications and quality requirements are received into inventory.
• Develop, implement and update inventory control procedures and policies to minimize losses and reduce costs.
• Ensure the inventory warehouse and storage areas are safe, clean, and well organized to facilitate efficient movement and tracking of inventory.
• Accurately record and document inventory data, review inventory records and transactions for accuracy.
• Provide guidance and leadership to the inventory staff.
• Prepare and submit reports to purchasing and management.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 35 years of previous experience as an Inventory Supervisor or related position and experience.
• Proficient knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures.
• Team development, effective management, and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Access.
